Have a reading, idea or experience that opens a question? Send a short proposal to Mustanef’s editors.
What we welcome
Analytical essays, briefs exploring policy choices and proposals for conversations. We welcome Arabic and English contributions and different perspectives grounded in argument and respect.
Preparing a proposal
Include a working title, the question, a summary of about 150–250 words and key sources. Add a short introduction to yourself, disclose previous publication and explain any use of AI in preparation.
Before sending
Read the editorial policy and privacy notice. Send original work or material you have permission to use. Do not include sensitive data. Receiving a proposal does not mean it has been accepted or will be published automatically.
