Mustanef is an editorial platform for ideas, conversation and futures within DJAIRI. This policy explains how contributions are reviewed, published and corrected.
What we publish
We publish analytical essays, discussion briefs, policy papers and selected conversations, with the type of each contribution identified. The site does not offer scholarly peer review; the organisation’s specialist journals serve that purpose.
Originality and sources
Work must be original or used with clear permission. Quotations and verifiable information must be sourced, and facts distinguished from opinion and recommendations. We do not publish unsupported figures, findings or partnerships.
Review and contributor rights
Proposals and submissions are reviewed for clarity, sourcing, permissions and respect for people. A correspondent’s name or message will not be published as a contribution without permission. Rights remain with the contributor unless an explicit agreement provides otherwise.
AI assistance
Tools may assist with structure, drafting or translation, with disclosure and responsibility for checking the output and its sources. We do not invent interviews, references or experiences. This site’s opening materials were prepared with AI assistance and are labelled within each piece.
Disagreement and corrections
We welcome disagreement that addresses ideas without personal abuse. To request a correction, send the article link, the passage and a suggested source. We review requests and identify substantive corrections in the article when made.
