A climate or development fund does not fund every AI proposal. Eligibility, sector, country, partners and application route are separate conditions.
The decision to examine
Read the original call and record deadline, issuer, conditions, budget and required outcomes. Do not promise funding or make continuity depend on an unawarded grant.
Worked example
A hypothetical water-data summary project first explains the water problem, measurement and users. Adding a model is not enough to establish funding eligibility.
From idea to practice
- Describe the problem as a need, not a product name.
- Specify evidence needed before a decision and who reviews it.
- Test a non-personal example and log failures as well as successes.
- State whether to continue, improve or stop and why.
Your exercise
Write a five-field eligibility card and mark any condition not supported by the call as unverified.
Review rubric
A useful answer identifies a context, checkable evidence, a boundary and an owner for the next step. If it fits any organisation unchanged, add a detail specific to the case. This is a learning rubric, not automatic marking or official assessment.
